Darlyn R. McLaughlin Profile
Darlyn R. McLaughlin (formerly Collins), a lifelong resident of Maryland, was born in Owings Mills, the fifth child in a family of eight children. Raised on a farm, she was active in marching band, intramural field hockey and basketball while in middle school. In high school, she earned her varsity letter in field hockey, played clarinet in the orchestra, extensively studied French, and placed in the top ten of her graduating class. As a child, she and her family attended Mt. Paran Presbyterian Church, which later inspired her to research and write the history of the church, the subject of her college Honors Thesis.
Ms. McLaughlin married and raised six children of her own in Carroll and later Howard County, Maryland before obtaining her three advanced degrees. An avid proponent for 1st and 2nd amendment rights, Attorney McLaughlin practices law regularly in Administrative Law Courts, District Courts and Circuit Courts in the following Maryland Counties and Baltimore City*:
